TWO MEN ARRESTED FOR MARIJUANA POSSESSIONTwo men were arrested last week after being caught with marijuana.Reid A. Lejeune, 20, of 4667 Rebelle Lane, Port Allen, was arrested and charged Oct. 8 with simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.LSU Police Department spokesman Capt. Russell Rogé said the Crime Interdiction Unit stopped Lejeune, a University student, on Highland Road near Dalrymple Drive for a traffic violation.Officers received permission from Lejeune to search his vehicle where officers found a smoking pipe and a scale with 0.003 grams of marijuana.Lejeune was issued a misdemeanor summons and released.Evan M. Little, 19, of 17840 Chancellorsville Ave., Baton Rouge, was arrested and charged Oct. 10 with simple possession of marijuana.Rogé said LSUPD officers stopped Little on Nicholson Drive near Alex Box Stadium.After officers smelled marijuana and questioned Little about it, he admitted that he had been smoking before he was stopped, Rogé said.Little turned over a marijuana cigarette and a bag containing 2.5 grams of marijuana.Little was issued a misdemeanor summons and released.
