Reports surfaced early Tuesday from the Rivals.com that FAMU high school linebacker Willie Ferrell de-committed from LSU. But Ferrell told the The Daily Reveille the report isn’t true.”I was talking to a reporter last night, and I guess he messed my words up,” Ferrell said. “I told him my family wants me to think about other schools, but I said no matter what I’m still committed.”Ferrell is rated as a three-star inside linebacker by Rivals.com. The 6-foot-1, 220-pound linebacker has scholarship offers from other schools including Alabama, Florida State, Michigan, Kentucky and Ole Miss.”I am still committed,” Ferrell said. “The only thing I said was that I haven’t signed the dotted line on the paper yet.”Ferrell said he planned to visit LSU this weekend for the Georgia game, but now he will come when LSU hosts Alabama on Nov. 8.
