Students at LSU are fascinated by the creepy classes and culture found on campus.The creepiest monsters seen in movies include Dracula, Frankenstein and, of course, the zombie.Zombies as a Metaphor will be a class offered to communication studies majors in Spring 2009.”Zombies are not singular, they are silent consumers and they represent what we are obsessed with and what we are scared of,” said Tracy Stephenson Shaffer, assistant professor and instructor of the course.Students also show their interest in zombies at the Zombie Walk, which will take place on campus tonight at 6 p.m.Other creepy classes include Ghost Hunting leisure classes, horror film classes and english classes that focus on vampires.—-Contact Aimee Effler at [email protected]
