A robbery occurred on campus late Tuesday at about 9:30 p.m.
The LSU Police Department responded to a robbery near Peabody Hall and the Indian Mounds.
The person of interest fled the scene on foot, according to the broadcast e-mail from the Office of Public Affairs.
The victim reported that as she was placing her books into her car, the person of interest pushed her against the vehicle and pulled her right arm behind her, according to the LSU Police crime alerts.
When no money was found, the person of interest stole the victim’s textbooks and fled on foot.
No weapons were used in the crime, and the victim was not injured
