STUDENT ARRESTED FOR DWIA University student was arrested Friday at 1:30 a.m. for driving while intoxicated along Highland Road.Trevor M. Stubbs, 19, of 12260 Milldale Road, Zachary, was charged with a first offense DWI and improper lane usage.LSU Police Department officers saw Stubbs crossing the center line while driving down Highland Road, said LSUPD spokesman Capt. Russell Rogé.Stubbs failed a field sobriety test after officers pulled him over.Rogé said Stubbs was transported to the police station but did not submit to a breath test.Stubbs was booked in East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.THREE BANNED MEN ARRESTED ON CAMPUSThree men were arrested last weekend for walking around the University after being banned.Alan R. Albrecht, 45, of 428 Glenwild Drive, was arrested Sunday evening near St. Alban’s Chapel on Highland Road for “remaining after being forbidden.”LSUPD officers saw Albrecht defecating on the steps of the chapel, Rogé said. Albrecht was stopped near The Varsity Theatre on Highland Road, and officers discovered that he had been banned in December 2007 and January 2008.Albrecht was issued a misdemeanor summons for “remaining after being forbidden” and criminal trespassing. Officers brought Albrecht back to the chapel to clean up his feces, Rogé said.David F. Zavala, 40, of 2426 Convention St., was arrested and issued a misdemeanor summons for “remaining after being forbidden” on Friday around 7 p.m. LSUPD officers responded to a call about a suspicious person at the Baptist Collegiate Ministry. After stopping Zavala, officers discovered he had been banned in February. Zavala did not give officers a reason why he was on campus, Rogé said.Zavala was released off campus and told not to return.Delonious Johnson, 42, of 2219 South Liberty St., New Orleans, was arrested Saturday at 5 p.m. during the LSU football game after being banned on campus in September and October 2007.Johnson was issued a misdemeanor summons for “remaining after being forbidden” and was released off campus.NON-STUDENT ARRESTED FOR DRUG POSSESSIONA man was arrested Saturday evening for possession of marijuana.Joshua E. Walters, 21, of 6610 Butler Oaks Court, Spring, Texas, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.LSUPD officers saw Walters and a friend sitting in Walter’s car and asked the pair to get out of the car after officers smelled marijuana, Rogé said.After being asked if the two had contraband, Walters gave the officers a smoking pipe and a plastic container with 43.8 grams — about 1.5 ounces — of marijuana.Both men were handcuffed, but Walters admitted he owned the marijuana and the pipes.
