The LSU Museum of Art has rescheduled several events due to closures forced by Hurricane Gustav’s landfall last Monday.”LSU Art Past and Present,” has been moved to Thursday, Sept. 18 at 6 p.m., according to a news release from Reneé Payton, MOA marketing director. The tailgating reception to celebrate the gallery displaying university art professors’ and students’ work have been moved to the same time and date. The MOA and the Manship Theater will also show “Anchors Aweigh” on Thursday, Sept. 18 with the exhibition “American Masters from The Blanton Museum of Art’s Mari and Jame A. Michener collection.” The event begins at 6 p.m.
