Cleaning campus trees to ensure students’ safety will take another 80-100 hours of work, according to Fred Fellner, Facility Services assistant director for landscape services. The department’s goal is to have tree-related safety issues resolved by the time classes are scheduled to resume Monday, but Fellner said such a task may be hard to meet.
He said his workers are removing debris and trimming partially broken limbs over sidewalks and buildings.
