SPIN BOLDAK, Afghanistan (AP) — A police chief says a suicide bomber has killed two Afghan doctors working for a United Nation’s agency in southern Afghanistan. Matiullah Khan says the blast in Spin Boldak of the southern Kandahar province also wounded 15 people, including 10 civilians and five Afghan guards protecting the doctor’s convoy. Khan is the police chief of Kandahar province. He says the victims worked for the U.N.’s World Health Organization.
