The University’s Emergency Operations Center announced today that Highland Road will be closed from Lee Drive to Staring Lane this evening and possibly for several days .
The road will be closed as workers attempt to clean up debris and down power lines caused by Hurricane Gustav.
The EOC suggested students and faculty use Burbank Drive and Nicholson and River roads during the closure.
Highland Road to close this evening – 4:36 p.m.
