New Chancellor Michael Martin will address incoming freshman Monday afternoon following a STRIPES event at the Cox Communications Academic Center for Student Athletes, according to a University news release.
Martin, former president of New Mexico State University, will address the students at approximately 2:25 p.m.
After his brief address, Martin will meet with members of the media until about 3 p.m.
Martin officially took over for acting Chancellor William Jenkins today. Martin replaces former Chancellor Sean O’Keefe, who resigned in January.
