The Senate Education Committee approved the tuition increase bill with little opposition, the Associated Press reported today.
The House approved the bill Monday after it had failed to pass a week earlier.
The bill is expected to increase the University’s tuition 5 percent each year for the next four years. If passed, University tuition by $234 this fall.
The bill will now go to the full Senate for debate.
