America Airlines announced on Wednesday that it will stop daily flights from Baton Rouge to Chicago beginning Sept. 7.
Company officials said it was stopping daily flights to Chicago O’Hare Airport from every Gulf Coast city except for New Orleans.
Ronnie Pickard, spokesman for the Baton Rouge Metro Airport, told the Business Report that the company was also cutting the number of daily flights to Dallas-Fort Worth from 10 to eight.
