A 20-year-old man and Tiger Band trumpeter was booked into Parish prison Dec. 11 for allegedly downloading child pornography on his computer. Jeffery Michael Herman, international trade finance junior and Dallas-Forth Worth native, was in prison Dec. 11 on a count of pornography involving a juvenile, The Advocate reported Dec. 13.”Sheriff deputies searched his home at 3135 Highland Road, Apt. 307, an arrest affidavit says,” The Advocate reported.According to The Advocate, deputies found “several child pornography movies on Herman’s computer.”Deputies investigated Herman as “part of an undercover operation regarding the possession, manufacturing and distribution of child pornography on the Internet.”Herman is a 2008-2009 Tiger Band member and a Jesuit College Preparatory 2006 alumni.
