LSU women’s basketball assistant coach Christie Sides resigned, head coach Van Chancellor told The Daily Reveille this morning.
Sides’ resignation leaves assistant coach Bob Starkey as the only remaining coach from former head coach Pokey Chatman’s staff, as assistant coach Carla Berry resigned April 13. Chancellor has repeatedly saidStarkey will remain on his staff.
Sides’ and Berry’s resignations come more than a month after Chatman announced she was leaving the team March 7 amid allegations of inappropriate conduct with one or more former players.
Chancellor said he is continuing the search for Berry’s replacement and will now begin the search for Sides’ replacement.
