LSU Police Chief to resign — 9:30 p.m.

LSU Police Chief Ricky Adams announced Tuesday that he will be leaving his position next month, according to WAFB.
Sheriff-elect Sid Gautreaux hired the 24-year LSUPD veteran to take a “top position” within the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Department, WAFB reported.
Adams has served as the University’s police chief for about three years.
