Today in the Atchafalaya room of the Student Union, students will have the chance to learn about prospective Student Senate candidates from the University College Center for Freshman Year. The forum, to be held from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m., will allow candidates brief introductions followed by a question-and-answer session. The questions will focus primarily on issues related to University freshmen. One of only four competitive elections this semester, the UCFY race features 14 candidates vying for seven available seats. The election for these as well as other Student Senate seats will be held Wednesday, Nov. 7.
