Following two resignations and staff evaluations, the Student Government executive branch is accepting applications for new staff members. There are five open positions: executive adviser, executive chief of staff, director of communications, director of finance and assistant director of students’ rights and welfare. SG President Cassie Alsfeld said the evaluation process was meticulous. She said the executive staff went through mid-semester assessments and she individually met with each member to discuss future goals. “From those evaluations and meetings, we could see maybe where those people needed to shift,” Alsfeld said. “The main thing we needed was more help at the top so that the staff is functioning right.” Applications are available at the SG Office on the third floor of the Student Union and on the SG Web site. Applications are due by Wednesday at 5 p.m. to the SG Office.
