LSU will open its new gift center Wednesday at 9 a.m., the LSU athletic department announced Monday. The new gift center, called the LSUSportsShop, is located next to Mike the Tiger’s cage near the PMAC. The opening will be a “soft launch” for the new gift center. A grand opening for the new shop will take place on April 18, the same day as LSU’s spring football game. The store will stay open Wednesday until halftime of the LSU men’s basketball team’s game against Vanderbilt in the PMAC. Normal store hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays. “We will have everything from clothing, to shoes to sunglasses and much more,” said LSUSportsShop coordinator Ashley Stringfellow in a news release. “We have done all that we can to stock the store with items that our fans are looking for whether it be a unique LSU item or just a t-shirt. We want to be the one-stop shopping location for LSU fans.”
