LSU baseball coach Paul Mainieri said Thursday he is still unsure of his starting pitcher for Sunday’s game against Kentucky in the Tigers’ weekend series against the Wildcats.Sophomore pitcher Austin Ross will take the mound Saturday. Ross was the Tigers’ Sunday starter.
Sophomore Daniel Bradshaw was the Saturday starter. Sophomore Anthony Ranaudo will remain the Friday starter.”I thought was going to put [senior pitcher Louis] Coleman into the rotation,” Mainieri said. “But last night [against Louisiana-Lafayette] he reminded me of what a great weapon he is out of the bullpen.”
