LSU sophomore pitcher Austin Ross was named Southeastern Conference Pitcher of the Week on Monday afternoon.Ross was honored after striking out a career-high 10 batters in the Tigers’ 16-0 win against UCF on Sunday. Ross pitched six shutout innings against the Golden Knights, walking no batters and allowing just two hits.Sunday’s win improved Ross’ record to 2-0 on the season.
