The University’s powerlifting team will compete at the 2009 Collegiate National Powerlifting Championships, held in Baton Rouge on March 27 – 29. The powerlifting team, which has won many national titles since its formation in 1999, has practiced fervently to add another national title to their list and regain their previous combined team award title.
Both the men’s and women’s teams will compete in the squat, bench press and dead lift portions of the event, which will begin at 7 a.m. in Family Christian Academy’s gymnasium.—-Contact Natalie Roy at [email protected]
