LSU senior pitcher Louis Coleman was named Louisiana Sports Writers Association Pitcher of the Week, the LSU Athletic Department announced Tuesday.
Coleman was 2-0 with a 0.93 ERA in two appearances against Kentucky last weekend, one in relief and one a complete-game victory.
The right hander is 4-1 on the season with a 0.40 ERA and 32 strikeouts.
LSU plays Northwestern State tonight at 6:30 p.m. in Alex Box Stadium.
