The LSU women’s tennis team’s match against Vanderbilt has been postponed because of rain.
The match will not resume until the Southeastern Conference tournament April 23-26 in Fayetteville, Ark.
The teams will pick up where they left off right before the tournament begins.
Both teams were scoreless when the match was postponed.
“We were playing really hard and well. We got down and fought back and were in a good position. It’s pretty frustrating that we didn’t get a chance to finish because I was feeling confident with the way we were playing,” said LSU women’s coach Tony Minnis in a news release.
LSU hosts No. 13 Kentucky on Sunday.
