The College of Education will host the 12th annual Women’s and Gender Studies Graduate Students Conference this Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Peabody Hall.
Janet L. Miller, Columbia University professor, is the keynote speaker and will deliver a speech entitled “Transnationality, subjectivity, representation: (im)possiblities of feminist autobiographical practices” today at 6 p.m. in room 103 of the Design Building.
LSU Women’s and Gender Studies, the Women’s and Gender Studies Graduate Student Organization, the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Education and Student Government are providing funding for the conference and Miller’s speech, according to a University news release. —-Contact The Daily Reveille news staff at [email protected]
