The LSU baseball team has moved up to No. 4 in the Collegiate Baseball Top 30 and No. 5 in the Baseball America Top 25, the respective publications announced Monday.
The Tigers (33-12, 14-7) were No. 9 in last week’s Collegiate Baseball poll and No. 6 in last week’s Baseball America poll. UC Irvine is No. 1 in both polls for the second straight week.
LSU swept Auburn this weekend, putting them tied for first in the Southeastern Conference standings with Georgia.
LSU plays Tulane at Alex Box Stadium on Tuesday before traveling to Arkansas this weekend for a three-game series between the SEC West’s top two teams.
