NEW ORLEANS (AP) — What should the nation’s policies be in developing energy resources off the U.S. coast?The public will get a chance to tell the Interior Department what they think they should be on Wednesday.Interior Secretary Ken Salazar is hosting a public meeting in New Orleans as the Obama administration develops a comprehensive energy strategy for the U.S. Outer Continental Shelf.Salazar will speak and officials with the Minerals Management Service and U.S. Geological Survey will present reports on the known extent of oil, natural gas and renewable energy.—–Contact The Daily Reveille news staff at [email protected]
