Highland Road between Lee Drive and LSU Avenue is closed for emergency repairs and won’t reopen until Friday evening at the earliest, according to a broadcast e-mail.
“City-parish officials have informed LSU that they have closed Highland Road 50 feet south of LSU Avenue (toward Lee Drive) for emergency repairs,” the e-mail said.
Burbank Drive, by way of East Boyd Drive, Lee Drive or Gardere Lane, to reach areas south of LSU Avenue on Highland Road.
“Students who ride buses to campus via the Highland/Burbank Route or Night Route A should go to the shopping center at the corner of Lee Drive and Highland Road to catch the Bus,” the e-mail said.
