BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — The Louisiana Governor’s Mansion is glowing red every night this month to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease.
First lady Supriya Jindal announced Tuesday that the mansion will join other buildings around the country that will be bathed in red light for February.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the United States, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
