Top college prospect Rueben Randle has committed to play college football at LSU, the high school player announced Wednesday on National Signing Day.
Randle, a Bastrop High School product, is projected to play wide receiver in college after playing quarterback his senior year.
The five-star prospect passed for 2,461 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2008. He caught 55 passes for 1,058 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior in 2007.
Randle’s final college choices were LSU, Alabama and Oklahoma.
Five-star running back Trent Richardson committed to Alabama late Wednesday.
The Pensacola, Fla., native’s final choices were LSU, Alabama and Florida.
