LSU sophomore point guard Bo Spencer could be a game-time decision to start Saturday against Auburn, LSU men’s basketball coach Trent Johnson said Thursday.Spencer sprained his ankle in the Tigers’ Feb. 11 win against Mississippi State and has missed the team’s past two games.
The Baton Rouge native told reporters he practiced for the first time since the injury on Thursday and was hoping to play.”The key is how he adjusts if there’s any swelling or anything,” Johnson said. “If he is able to go I will probably start him because I won’t get him warmed up and sit him and give [the ankle] a chance to stiffen.”
