The University’s Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute (SEI) is challenging students across Louisiana to participate in the Global Innovation Tournament, a competition organized by Stanford University. Students will have eight days and limited resources to create a short YouTube video about innovatice solutions to the challenge of making it fun to save money.Students who reach the semi-finals will take part in the global round of judging, which will be held at Stanford University.The competition is part of other celebrations that are a part of Global Entrepreneurship Week. More than 75 countries are participating in the celebrations.Local winners will be announced from Nov. 16-22, which is during Global Entrepreneurship Week. Global winners will be announced on Dec. 3.
