LSU senior blocked Brittnee Cooper was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, marking the third time this season and the fourth time of her career Cooper won the honor.
Cooper had 31 combined kills in LSU’s victories against Georgia and Auburn this weekend.
“We’re excited that we were able to get Brittnee back into her offensive rhythm last weekend,” said LSU coach Fran Flory in a news release. “She and Sam Dabbs worked extremely hard on their tempo and timing last week in practice. Our ball control also played a huge part in Brittnee earning this award and created highly successful opportunities for her.”
