Krista Allen, history senior, is the Nov. 12 “Eye on Excellence” student winner.

Allen, who is minoring in leadership development, maintains a 3.7 GPA. She is a student recruiter for the College of Arts and Sciences and a student speaker for the American Public Affairs Committee based in Washington, D.C.

Allen is the Student Government assistant director of academics and sits on the Civic Engagement Committee. She is also  a member of Tigers for Israel, Mortar Board, ODK, Susan G. Komen and the Provost Council.

Allen is also an LSU Ambassador.
