LSU softball pitcher Brittany Mack was named a NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete on Wednesday, an honor given by the governing body of collegiate softball.
Mack earned a 3.5 GPA last semester to earn the honor.
“We are extremely proud of Brittany,” head coach Yvette Girouard said. “She is diligent and a fierce competitor not only on the playing field but also in the classroom. We’re excited to see the development from her freshman to her sophomore season in the circle.”
