The University expressed appreciation Friday for Sen. Mary Landrieu’s hospitality for organizing a visit to Washington, D.C., for the LSU baseball team, according to a University news release.
The baseball team’s trip to Washington, D.C., began last Wednesday with a luncheon at Landrieu’s home. The luncheon was followed by a tour of the U.S. Capitol and a meeting with Vice President Joe Biden.
