Among the issues discussed at the Sept. 25 “green building” conference was wood being a ‘green’ building material, according to an AgCenter news release.
According to Russell Richardson, director of industrial markets with the Southern Forest Products Association, wood requires less energy to produce, provides better insulation and stores carbon in comparison to other building products.
