Michael Finkelstein, a senior in history and philosophy, is the Oct. 13 “Eye on Excellence” student winner.

Finkelstein is the president of Landmark LSU and an executive board member for Hillel. He is also involved in College Outreach and is the sitting committee member of the LSU Sesquicentennial Committee.

He also works in the state’s  Attorney General’s office and participates in the Tiger Athletic Foundation.

Finkelstein has been on the Dean’s List several times throughout his time at the University, and he is also involved in the the Phi Alpha Delta Prelaw Society, Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society, Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma Honor Societies, and the National Society for Collegiate Scholars.

Finkelstein plans to apply for Leadership LSU in the spring semester.
