Facebook groups like “MGMT For LSU Groovin’ on the Grounds Spring 2010” may have finally gotten the attention of Students Government.
SG is administering a survey on PAWS for students to choose what genre of music they would prefer to hear at next semester’s Groovin’ on the Grounds, according to a broadcast e-mail sent Monday.
The survey allows students to choose among genres like country, hip hop, pop and rock. It also includes examples of artists for each genre, including Eric Church, Three 6 Mafia, Rhianna and All American Rejects.
SG stated that it only lists the artist examples for students to better understand each genre, according the the survey. SG also offers the disclaimer that “Students On Target can not verify or guarantee any of these artists to perform at Groovin’ 2010.”
Students can also type in their own suggestions for artists.
