Tim Tebow is expected to play in tonight’s game against the LSU Tigers, the Associated Press is reporting.
The AP is reporting that a person familiar with the decision says Tebow has been medically cleared to play against No. 4 LSU.
Florida coach Urban Meyer said earlier Saturday that the quarterback would play if he received clearance from doctors, the AP said. The person requested anonymity because an official announcement has yet to be made.
Two weeks after suffering a concussion against Kentucky, Tebow’s status for what figured to be top-ranked Florida’s toughest regular-season test was uncertain.
The senior has never missed a game in his four-year career.
