The New Orleans Hornets signed draft picks Darren Collison and Marcus Thornton to contracts Wednesday.Collison, the No. 21 overall pick, will earn $1.055 million this season and $1.3 million in 2010-11, according to a report by the Times-Picayune.Thornton’s contract was not disclosed, but the former Tiger standout will still have to earn a spot on the final regular-season roster before the contract is guaranteed.—-Contact The Daily Reveille sports staff at [email protected]
