NEW ORLEANS (AP) — According to documents filed in state district court in St. Charles Parish, former New Orleans Saints tailback Deuce McAllister is being sued for more than $750,000.
According to the lawsuit, filed Aug. 3, Whitney National Bank claims McAllister owes $753,183.08 plus interest after defaulting on three loans.
William Finn, an attorney who represents Whitney National Bank, acknowledge the lawsuit, but would not comment on it.
According to court documents, the debt by Deuce McAllister Nissan of Jackson, LLC — the car dealership McAllister owned — was personally guaranteed by McAllister.
McAllister could not be reached for comment.
In March, McAllister filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection for his Mississippi dealership.
