Local media outlet Cox Sports Television has reached an agreement with ESPN on a multiyear deal, which gives the station the right to broadcast Southeastern Conference athletic events.
The deal will go into effect in this fall and will cover men and women’s basketball, baseball and other SEC events, according to a press release issued by the LSU Athletic Department.
CST became the exclusive regional television home for LSU sports in 2002, but the network has branched out and has also partnered with Arkansas athletic events.
