The University’s lab theatre program opens its fall season tonight with the premiere of “A Kind of Alaska” at the renovated Music and Dramatic Arts building on Dalrymple Drive.
The show is based on the story of a woman, who through a newly developed drug, is able to awaken to a world she has been removed from because of a mysterious sleeping sickness for 30 years.
After waking up, the woman faces many struggles but begins to see life in a different way than those around her.
“A Kind of Alaska” will be performed every night through Sunday, Sept. 27, at 7:30 p.m. at the M&DA building. Admission costs $10.
