Fresh off a 31-3 victory against the University of Louisiana-Lafayette, the LSU football team moved up two spots in the Associated Press Top 25.
The Tigers took advantage of losses by BYU and USC to jump to its highest rating since Oct 11, 2008.
LSU remained No. 7 in the coaches poll, taking over the No. 7 spot alone after being tied last week with California, who moved to the No. 6 spot.
