MONROE (AP) — Officials at ConAgra Foods Inc. are counting on state farmers to produce more than half the sweet potatoes it will need for the planned Lamb Weston processing plant near Delhi. But those farmers wouldn’t have a crop without the LSU AgCenter Sweet Potato Research Station.
