Trotwood, OHIO (CNN)— You may remember Omarosa Manigault from Donald Trump’s T-V show “The Apprentice.”
Some contestants on Donald Trump’s TV show “The Apprentice” would have called Omarosa Manigault the boardroom “bully.”
Now, her life is taking a totally different turn.
“The images of me in the Trump board room are very bold, vivid images but I think it’s important to understand that when I taped the apprentice that was in 2003 and over time people change,” said Omarosa Manigault.
In 2009 and beyond, you’ll find her at the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, studying to become a woman of the cloth.
“And there’s a transformation that happening in my life,” said Manigualt. “I’m very excited about and I hope that people would be excited with me that I have answered the call that God would have for me.”
Monday’s hour long opening convocation marks the beginning of her doctoral classes. Omarosa will study under her pastor, Dr. H. Beecher Hicks Jr. for two to three years.
“That is where Omarosa is now, seeking to understand how it is that God has reached out and touched her life in such a way that now she is about to move in a totally, completely different direction,” said Dr. H. Beecher Hicks Jr.
Manigualt says her main goal is to be obedient to God’s word.
“I have really spend the last couple of years, prayerful, asking God to show me what my purpose is and to show me where I best can serve,” said Manigualt.
As for doing television shows in the future, she believes that’s up for God to decide.
“Well, my profession is a television personality, entertainer but really my purpose is to be a child of God or to do his work,” said Manigualt.
Manigualt will not be in the Dayton area the whole time during her studies. She and other students are able to study from home and do some distant learning.
