Although the job market for recent law graduates isn’t the same as it was a few years ago, the situation in the south is not as dismal as it is in the Northeast, said Career Services Director Tracy Evans at the LSU Law Center.
Currently, 66 percent of the 2009 graduate class is employed, which is 10% behind the norm, she said.
After the students receive their Bar Exam scores, Evans said employment is expected to increase 10 to 12 percent.——Contact the Daily Reveille news staff at [email protected]
