BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Two of Louisiana’s new congressmen have learned their committee assignments on Capitol Hill.
U.S. Rep. Anh “Joseph” Cao (gow), a New Orleans Republican, announced today that he’s been appointed to sit on the House transportation committee and the homeland security committee.
U.S. Rep. Bill Cassidy, a Baton Rouge Republican, is on the natural resources committee and the panel dealing with education and labor.
