JACKSONVILLE, Ala. (AP) — Ryan Perrilloux says he’s returning to Jacksonville State for his senior year.The Gamecocks’ quarterback, who transferred from LSU, said he wants to win a championship.Perrilloux said Tuesday he was told by the NFL Advisory Board that he would not likely be drafted in the first three rounds.He called the assessment “more than fair.”In his first year as a starter, Perriloux led Jacksonville State to an 8-3 record and a 2nd place finish in the Ohio Valley Conference.Perilloux was named the Most Valuable Player of the 2007 Southeastern Conference Championship Game, passing for 243 yards and a touchdown against Tennessee.The LaPlace native came out of East St. John High School as a highly touted recruit, winning the USA Today National Offensive Player of the Year in 2004.He was dismissed from the LSU football team in May 2008 for violation of team rules.—-Contact The Daily Reveille’s sports staff at [email protected]
