LSU sophomore pitcher Anthony Ranaudo will start again Friday for the Tigers.The Jackson, N.J., will make the start on six days rest following his 3 1/3-inning performance in the Tigers’ College World Series opener on Saturday.Ranaudo allowed two earned runs, chalked up three strike outs and walked four Virginia batters in the game before exiting in favor of junior Paul Bertuccini.The Tigers will face the winner of Wednesday night’s Arkansas-Virginia matchup in Friday’s game and can advance to the best-of-three championship series with a win.An LSU loss would force a rematch in an elimination game scheduled for Saturday at either 1 or 6 p.m., depending on what happens on the other side of the College World Series bracket.—-Contact The Daily Reveille sports staff at [email protected]
